Today was a pretty successful crafting day. I hope you will take time to see my other posts from today in order to take in the other crafty goodness that I created today. But here I am spotlighting a cute card I put together using a digital stamps, background paper, and clip art from Prettygrafikdesign. I found this store on etsy. From that shop I bought background papers, the camping girl, and the fire. The compass that is layered on the checked blue background came from Cricut Design Space. I used the print and cut feature to make all these elements.
I first took the dark background paper which has fireflies all over it and added glimmer mist. It was just crying out for some sparkle. I then used a cross stitched die to cut it down to size. I used the same die set to die cut the next layer. These are memory box dies I believe.
The marshmallow roaster (girl) was colored in with copic markers. The only thing I added to the fire was some Wink of Stella. Again...more sparkle was needed.
Behind all the layers you can see a peek of washi tape that I picked up from the Dollar Tree. That pink plaid has come in handy a few times.
I added all the layers to white cardstock cut at 4 x 5 1/4. I then added that to a kraft card base that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The girl and fire I did pop up with foam squares..which got interesting to do when it came to the marshmallow section.
I did not add a sentiment to this card. I also can't think of one to add inside the card. Got any ideas? Let me know.
This card was inspired by Mojo Monday's Challenge sketch for this week:

Saturday at Sundown
I also got a bunch of scrap paper cut up in "my" go to sizes. See below how I store this paper. I cut down all scraps in to the following 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, 5 1/2 x 2 1/2, 5 1/2 x 1 1/2, 3 x 2, 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, or 3 x3. I used to horde everything but not anymore. I go into this box for layers, accent papers, etc. I love doing this. It saves me time later.
Starting Out my Saturday

Washi Tape..Oh How I love Thee!
I still love Washi tape. I think it is considered still "in' especially for planners. I have several rolls but never seem to use them very often however. So today, I wanted to set out to make them the focus of a card.
Like I do pretty much for everything I headed to Pinterest to see what was out there. Find the inspiration that would make a cute card. I also knew I wanted to use this weeks Mojo Monday Card sketch. I really love this sketch. It has such potential.
So here is my card all completed. I used Washi to do the strip on the side. I covered Recollections cardstock with washi and die cut the balloons, the balloon background, and the butterflies.
I think this is a such a cute card. To find out more details, see the video below.
While I had out the washi I also decorated the following tags. I will either add them to other projects or maybe include in a swap. As I finish them I will be sure to take some pictures so you can see the end result.

Slow Crafting Weekend
This weekend...I stayed on slow mode. But don't worry I still got one card made.
I made a cute little slider card. I used a digital stamp from tiddlyinks colored with copics. I added a red striped mat using some BoBunny Beach Therapy paper with some leaves I die cut from green scrap cardstock. I added some flowers and silver Nuvo drops to the center.
The main part of the card is made with Recollections Khacki cardstock. I used a Bobunny die in the middle to make the "lacy" looking window. Unfortunately, even with a shim I could not get the entire die to cut through. So the middle does have some pieces still intact.
The slider inside has some flowers stamped on the side so it will peek through the die. It is a Unity stamp, stamped in Stampin' Up's Rose Red ink. The sentiment is from an unknown source...another one of the "girl" quotes my sister give me. I added a tab at the top by punching a circle and folding it in half. I added some more flowers and Nuvo drops.
I did make a mistake on the back of the card. I somehow got some cocunt oil on it from my hands, but I am adding some more of that stripped paper on the back which will cover it. So that should take care of that oops.

Peep Easter Card
Pretty much everything was made using my Cricut. The only stamp I used were the clouds. This was from a Verve stamp set I won in a challenge blog. The set was Up, Up, and Away I believe. Oh..and the faces of the peeps I used Lawn Fawn's milk and cookies set to make. I will tell you how I made the Peep stamp using my Cricut in the video with all the info below.

I Just Love Being a Girl
I think this cards has the most layers I have ever used on a card. I love it!
All the cardstock is either Recollections or from Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine 6x6 paper pad. Just as a side note this paper collection is one that I can't cut down into my usual sizes. I have kept every single scrap...I can't help myself.
Ok back on on track. I followed the current sketch over on the Mojo Monday Challenge blog for this card.
The ballerina silhouette I found from a free clip art site..I have no idea which one. My Cricut cut out the ballerina in no time. I did add clear wink of stella to the ballerina for some shine. Then I added some Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry around the sides using my ink blending tool. Finally, I used my die cuts from Wish to cut out the frame for the sentiment. Just that little bit of stitching really does make that pop.
The sentiment is another I inherited from my sister. It says, "I love being a girl!". I also cut out a butterfly using a die in the same blue strip but at a diagonal. To the butterfly I added some clear wink of stella as well. To make it shine I also added a layer of glossy accents.

Easter Egg-Washi Style
I got an Easter card done...and I made a video. It all was bit nerve racking but I did it. I don't have any video editing program, so I just went with it. Hope if you get a chance to watch you will.....
But on to the card. So for the card I started off with white cardstock (Recollections) 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Layered on top is purple polka dot paper. The next layer is from Amy Tangerine's Rise and Shine (6x6 paper pad). I added some strips of pink glitter paper. The cut out I did on the Cricut. It looks like it is colored in because behind the cut out I took another smaller piece of cardstock and covered it in different colors of washi tape. I think this is so cute!
Finally the sentiment is on an oval cut out with my Cricut in purple cardstock. The sentiment I stamped using Momento black in. The sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly. It is popped up and layered on a piece of scalloped oval using silver pearlized paper made by Cricut.
I am entering this in the following challenges:

Final Look-Assembly Line Cards
Over the weekend, I got a chance to finish all the cards I had planned from the backgrounds and critters I had completed. Here is one of the cards I made into a shaker using a circle die, some fun foam and acetate. I stamped Birthday Wishes by My Sentiments Exactly in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink after putting together the shaker. I added the bear holding a cake, as well as a pearl enamel dot. I used some chunky blue glitter as the shaker portion.
Next is a similar card this time I used a heart die, with some sequins, gold micro beads, as well as some iridescent glitter inside the shaker. I used the same sentiment, this time with a yellow flower added. This critter is a fox holding a present.
Below are the other cards I did using the same idea but this time they are not shakers. For these I think the image should have been bigger on some. The critter sometime really isn't filling the entire space well. I used patterned paper behind one image. I also used two critters in one trying that out. I like them all but the shakers are my favorites.
The shakers I am entering into two challenges:

Mini Loaded Bag-Sent/Received
So a few weeks ago I shared with you the beginnings of this Spring Themed Mini Loaded bag. The person I swapped with has now received. So now I can show you the whole thing.
So to the right is the bag I showed you prior to putting anything in it. Pretty plain and basic. I started out with Recollections Khaki paper for the base. I also added some Recollections patterned paper in pinks and purples.
So it had a main "pocket" and then another smaller pocket on the front.
Here is another picture of the two wands I added before I finished them as well. For these the base were cupcake liners I picked up at dollar tree. The stems are paper straws I also picked up at Dollar Tree.
I did forget, which isn't anything new for me, to take a picture of the completed project. But, I did video all the goodies I put in the bag along with the completed project.
You can watch that here or head on over to YouTube.

Next Step ..Assembly Line Cards
You know those sentiment backgrounds I made? Well over the last week I have gotten the next steps of those cards made. All these cute little critters stamped, colored, and cut out using their coordinating dies. I then took the backgrounds and cut out shapes in the areas that didn't emboss the best. Stay tuned for the entire project to come together.
The stamp set used for these was from Lawn Fawn called Party Animals. I colored them all with Copic Markers.
