You Bring the Sunshine and a cup full of Daisies!

🌼This card I dusted off my watercolor supplies to put together this cute card to let someone know they bring the 🌞sunshine. Do you have those types of people in your life? I can think of a few and I am so thankful for them. This really is very simple water coloring but because I don't do this often this was a joy to put together. I kept the embellishments simple to help keep the focus on that cup of daisies that is the main image. So a bit of washi and flat back pearls was all it needed. If you want to see the process of making this card head on over to my YouTube Channel. The link is can be found here.

Vellum Borderless Shaker Card

A shaker card using vellum...📃such a nice muted look. This turned out pretty much as I had imagined. So glad I added the sentiment using my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space to make a Happy B Day Sentiment with shadow. That offset feature has really stepped up the game for sure. You can see me put this card together over on my YouTube channel. The link is here. I mentioned in my video I would link the mat...but I didn't save it, unfortunately. 😒 ARGH! Sorry about that everyone.

The Hits Keep on Coming: March Spellbinders Card Kit

🤷 I know, I know...I have got to move on from the March #spellbindersclubkits

. I promise you I have started this past weekend. But I need to share with all of you the cards I made. So here are 3 more. Later this week I will share the rest. For the first two cards, I just wanted to show off the beautiful paper from the paper pad. I added die cuts from the kit on card 1, Card two I added that bold pop with the black and gold washi I have in my stash and a die-cut I found in too. For the third card, I used a die to make the slider portion on the front. You pull up on the tag to show the encouraging sentiment. Simple cards but I hope they brighten someone's day.

Offsets from Design Space-Card Examples

Over on my YouTube channel, you will see how I used the offset cuts I made from my last video. I stamped the cute little fox 🦊from Spellbinders March Card Kit onto the offset I made for it. Such a simple process but now I have that white halo around the image as if I die cut it out. Here I am just showing you the cards I made with those colored images. I colored them with Copics, found some cute card sketches off my Pinterest board to help pull them together.

The navy card uses a couple of the stamps from the card kit along with perfect pearls to make a beautiful background. I used papers from the kit as well so everything has a cohesive look. Love how these turned out. Head on over to my YouTube channel

here to see how I stamp on the offsets I created with Cricut Design Space then if you have DS start making your own offsets. It really is a game-changer.

Embrace the White Space

I have found in cardmaking...you need to be able to embrace the whitespace!⬜ I decided to use some scraps from the March Spellbinders Card kit to make a few banners. I added a simple sentiment that coveys to the recipient you are thinking of them, then added a beautiful butterfly sticker from the kit. This would be an easy one to mass-produce. You could then leave off the sentiment since this could be used basically for any event. Love! 💝

Spellbinders March Kit...Still Going Strong

Just a few scraps of patterned paper add a layer of black cardstock to make it pop.  So simple. I added a diecut with a few gems.  Done.  Thanks again Spellbinders. Still in love with the March card kit.

You are Not Alone

A simple card to let someone you love💗 know they are not alone. This is a powerful message especially to the person who needs to hear it. This is one of the cards I didn't have on my circle light so it has a yellow hue...🤦 In person it looks much better. I added some of the flowers I had diecut with my March Spellbinders kit and added the diecut bunny and flowers as well. This was just a play around card which I could have stepped up quite a bit but glad i didn't. I wanted the sentiment to be one of the focal points. I will be saving this for someone who is going to need to hear this.

Using Offset in Cricut Design Space

Today I want to share with you my new favorite part of🦗 Cricut Design Space....Offset!!! This is a game-changer. 🤩 With my new Spellbinders Monthly Card Kit, not all the images come with coordinating dies. But that is no longer an issue! With the offset feature in DS I can now create an outline for each of my stamps. I can then stamp them on these outlines later when I want to use one of them for a card. I am sooo happy this feature has been added. Check out my YouTube Video to see how I did this. You can find it here.

You are Lovely-Cup of Tea Card

You are Lovely! Not only on this card is there something positive you are stating but a nice cup of tea has been added. ☕ This would be a great card to send a friend to help say I hope we can get together soon. It also means it's time to spill some tea with each other when you get together. 😂 Thanks to Spellbinders I have more cards to share from the March kit...I still have yet to break out the April kit and here it is already May. I will not let that dissuade
me from enjoying every minute of this kit.

Giftcard Card Made with Spellbinders March Kit

📝 note to self: make sure to always have on your 🔵circle light when taking pictures of your cards. The next few cards I will be sharing are going to have a yellow tint.  Try to ignore that if possible.   I needed a few cards that could hold a gift card so here is one I made. The gift card pops up when the card opens.  Again my March Spellbinders card kit made this easy to put together. 😁
