Stacked Stamped Backgrounds

Stacked stamped backgrounds....brought the WOW factor!🤩 Layering text in white embossing ink or versa mark ink followed by another image stamped in dye or distress oxide inks has made me happy and led to SEVERAL cards. If you want to see me put the background and the card together head on over to my YouTube channel (link is here).

Adding Texture to Vellum

I wanted to try to add some texture to the vellum.  I think my pearl-colored vellum was just not quite heavy enough for this to work the best but I still love the result.  I used Tangerine Tango to stamp a flowered Unity stamp on the vellum.  After it dried thanks to my heat tool, I took a stylus and over craft foam traced the flowers.  It gives it a bit of a textured bump finish on the other side.  When you turn over the vellum the image seems pinker.  So I got out some paper from my Spellbinders April Kit of the Month and a sentiment to pull this card together.

I am adding this card to two challenges:

Creative Fingers Challenge #215:  Anything Goes  (you can find this challenge here) &

Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge #412 (you can find this challenge here)

Let's Use That Washi

Making a frame with torn washi is so much fun!  Saw this on Pinterest and had to try it. I love having this in my arsenal of card making.   Ya got to use all that washi somehow. 😉

CASE Card: Inspiration from other Cardmakers

I love this industry so much.  The best part is seeing others create stunning cards...works of art really , day in and day out.  I really feel like I spend too much time daydreaming about cards, watching videos, scanning Pinterest.  But I can't help it!  It makes me happy.  I also love when I see someone like Anne over on Instagram blow me away constantly with her unique style in cardmaking.  You should really check her out (@annekortit).  Today's card I made after following her for over a year over on Instagram just bowled over whenever she posted a card.  They are just "her" ya know?  I love them.  So if you want to see me try to re-create her style head on over to my YouTube channel to watch the process here.
