My First Card Kit Card

☝For the first time I have subscribed to a monthly kit. @teamspellbinders I am so enjoying my card kit. Here is the first card I made using the kit.  I have a blended background using distress oxide inks. . And on top of that I used the small stamp to add grass. I then used some patterned paper and the empherma included. So cute!

Using up bits of patterned paper

Simple can be best. A few strips with a coordinating sticker from the collection is the main part of the card. I just added a die-cut sentiment along with a few Nuvo drops. A card that can be used for any occasion. The paper and clock sticker is from Echo Park's Petticoats and Pinstripes collection. I was trying to find a way to use up those beautiful bits of paper. This is what I came up with.

Finishing Projects

How many unfinished projects do you have lying around? 😏  Well I have one less!  These cuties from  @prettygrafik have been out and colored sitting in my die cut bin forever.  After printing and cutting them with my Cricut Explore I used Copic markers to bring them to life. The sentiment is from a Hampton Arts set.

Split Card Design

I wanted to give a Split Card🪓 Design a try. I have seen this done on the lovely @jennifermcguireink

YouTube channel. I love how you can get two cards from one doing this. If you want to see the two designs I made you can head on over to my Youtube Channel. The link is in the bio. I did not do a great job editing it so please accept my apology for that. Please stick with me...I will eventually find my editing groove. It's a learning process. I also realize at the end I forgot to put an ending...🤦. How everyone does this on a regular basis..I don't know, but I know I have a lot of respect for content creators. It isn't easy. Hope you like all the cards I put together with this technique!

Head on over to see the video HERE!
