July Design Team Project: Pastel Rainbow

Another great card for those skinny patterned paper scraps you have. Anyone can do this...come on beginner card maker, tear up some scraps and make a rainbow. It is so much fun. Most elements come from Spellbinder's card kit elements from last year...those things will last forever I feel. The texture of the torn paper and the stitching really makes me happy. Hope you enjoy it! If you want to join Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge head here.

As always you can also watch the video of the making of this card on my YouTube Channel here.

Here is another way to get those buttons in your stash used. Make a card of button balloons. This is super cute and easy to do with just a few supplies.

Star Dies Used as Stencils

I wanted to incorporate my large selection of dies in a new way. I decided to trace them as you would stencils. Then I added a few dots of color in acrylic paints using none other than a q tip. The q-tip has become one of my favorite painting devices lately. Then it just to a fine liner pen to add in a few more details. The sentiment came from a pack I bought from Alliexpress that is great for the everyday kind of cards. Hope you get a chance to get creative today.

Father's Day Watercolor Card

Thank you for the idea @ andrea.nelson.art from Tik Tok for the idea of watercoloring fish. I was stumped on what to do this year for Father's day. If Andrea says you can draw and/or paint it I believe her. Now is this a work of art? Maybe not, but it turned out super cute. Hoping the hubby likes it. Get out your watercolor paints and give this a try if you too need something quick for a Father's Day Card.

Custom RN Card- Congratulations Card

Made this as congratulations to my niece who just graduated from nursing school.  I did this as a live on Instagram but wanted to share it on YouTube as well.  Don't worry this is the edited version.   I hope you enjoy it!

Simple Washi Card

Really you can make a simple quick card with a few inexpensive washi tapes. Add a sentiment or maybe a sticker to tie it in. Wham! You have a card that will give the recipient a smile. Great for those last-minute card needs. Yes anyone can do this! See the 1-minute video here.
