Personalized Notecards Using Cricut Design Space Images

I had a co-worker I wanted to make some personalized cards for.  Cricut Design Space was just the place to go to get the look I wanted.  I kept this pretty simple since I wanted to be able to mass-produce these for others.  You can have these personalized for a great gift for someone.

My First Play Around with The Gel Plate and Acrylic Paints

I haven’t really had a real play with my Gel plate in a while.  I also have been hesitant to use acrylic paints.  I think I was scared once I used it with paints, I could not go back to using inks.  The cleaning up of the gel plate was so easy so I know I feel I will be able to use it with no issues next time I want to use it with my inks.

Simple Stenciled Background

I had to try out my new stencil.  Using the cute sticky mat from Dollar Tree made completing this card so simple.  It was great to be able to keep the cardstock still as I stenciled it.  The stencil is not a layering stencil but combined makes a beautiful background of sunflowers.  To pull it together I used the same green color to add to a scrap before cutting out the sentiment.  To make the sentiment stand out I added a small piece of kraft cardstock.  This is a great one to mass produce to give as gifts.  You can make the flowers any color you want to switch them up.

So sorry no photo to share on this one.
